After-School Tutoring

Project Success provides after school tutoring at all Decatur public elementary schools. Certified teachers and teaching assistants provide tutoring in core subject areas from October to May. Students must be referred for specific academic assistance at tutoring sessions by their classroom teachers. This service is free to all students!
During the 2008-2009 school year, 635 students at 15 K-8 schools and the Boys and Girls Club received free tutoring. 60% of those students improved their grades in at least one core subject.
